ATLANTA WOODTURNERS GUILD BOARD MINUTES

June 2011

The scheduled board meeting for the Atlanta Woodturning Guild met with quorum in place and was called to order by President Kurt Whitley at 5. 40pm 15 June 2011. A motion to accept the May minutes as written was presented by John Rudert, seconded by Jessie Johnson, and accepted unanimously.

Board Members present were John Rudert, Jessie Johnson, Bob Greenberg, Kurt Whitley, and Chris Burfield.

Treasury Report

Jesse Johnson reported that we have $3411.05 in the treasury.

This month’s demonstrator was Frank Penta from North Carolina. We can now all perform off axis turnings without buying another tool…unless you really want to. Frank does mushrooms a little differently than the rest of us and we thank him for sharing his techniques with us.
