Welcome to Aussie fun day! Thanks to Ernie Newman for an entertaining demonstration. We were treated to everything from Japanese tops and crying dolls, german christmas trees and multi-axis work to sweet potato tops and spin chewed corn on the cob. Don’t have a special tool? Use a shovel, hammer or shotgun!! As long as you’re rubbing that bevel, the world is your toolbox. Thanks to Ernie for a good show!

ATLANTA WOODTURNERS GUILD BOARD MINUTES

August 2011

The scheduled board meeting for the Atlanta Woodturning Guild met with quorum in place and was called to order by President Kurt Whitley at 5. 45pm 17 August 2011. A motion to accept the July minutes as written was presented by Jessie Johnson, seconded by Harvey Meyer, and accepted unanimously.

Board Members present were Jessie Johnson, Bob Greenberg, Harvey Meyer, Kurt Whitley, Doug Litchliter and Chris Burfield.

Guests attending were Betty Fugate and James McClure
