New DVDs and CDs Available in AWG Library

See the AWG Library page for new DVDs and CDs now available to all members.

Chris Pouncy, of the Robert Sorby company will demo for us. Chris will demonstrate some of the unique tools in the Sorby line of woodturning tools and I’m sure he’ll be able to show us the new line of Sovereign handles and gouges that Sorby is now offering. Don’t miss the opportunity to share some good laughs with the group as Chris is well known for keeping his audience amused. Combine that with 20% off most Sorby turning tools from Woodcraft, and you’re sure to have a great evening.

There was general discussion on the best way to obtain better use of our web site by the membership. Usage is very low with very few members taking advantage of the information available on the site. Each month the “presidents message” to the membership is sent via blanket e-mail to Guild members. It was decided that Bob will post his monthly message on the web site and then send an e-mail to all members asking them to go to the web site to read it
