Our demonstration for March was Franck Johannesen turning a bowl from Norfolk Island Pine (NIP). Our demonstrator for February was Mark Sillay. Mark’s demonstration emphasized cutting or “slicing” technique rather than a specific project. Our January presenter was Al Stirt. His presentation was a square bowl with texture. Peggy formally studied Fine Art with an emphasis in sculpture and began turning nine years ago. She brought four different Christmas ornaments which she sells – Santa Claus, Toy Soldier, Snowman, and Angel. Members chose the Toy Soldier followed by Santa as demonstration projects.
