This month, John Lucas came down from Tennessee to show us how he makes hand mirrors. John is well known among woodworking/turning forums such as Woodcentral. John is an excellent demonstrator with a good sense of humor and a wealth of experience.

Our demonstration for June was Jack Morse. Jack opened the session with some very informative demonstrations of techniques and special purpose jigs he has developed over the years and followed with an off-center square-edged bowl. Rebekah started turning after her father passed away and left behind a shop of woodworking tools including a lathe and penturning kits and accessories.
