ATLANTA WOODTURNERS GUILD 
BOARD MINUTES
May 2010
The scheduled board meeting for the Atlanta Woodturning Guild met with quorum in place and was called to order by the President Kurt Whitley 19 May 2010.
The Secretary was absent for this meeting and brief notes were taken by the President Kurt Whitley and compiled by the Secretary at a later date.
Treasury Report
There was no Treasury report for this meeting.
General Business
The initial content of the AWG newsletter was discussed. This is being compiled and edited by Betty Fugate.
The rest of the meeting consisted mainly on a discussion of the AWG By-laws. The subject being as to whether the existing By-laws should remain in effect or the new simple By-laws should be adopted. This continuing discussion did not result in the subject being resolved and a formal vote on the subject was postponed until the July meeting.
There being no further business the President adjourned the meeting.
