BOARD MINUTES
December 2009
The scheduled board meeting for the Atlanta Woodturning Guild met with quorum in place and was called to order by the President Bob Greenberg on
16 December 2009.
Treasury Report
Treasurer Doug Lichliter presented the income and expense statement for the period 1 December 2008 – 16 December 2009. The Guild showed total expenses for the period of $2952.56 and total income of $1284.44. The report was accepted as read.
Bob Greenberg stated that he has sent to the Treasurer a check in the amount of $432.00 for monies received at the last meeting for dues, shirts, and the raffle, along with a detail of income categories. Cash on hand should be approximately $2817.71 after adding this amount to the Total Income – Expenses figure of $2385.71.
Doug stated that he had not received this check so Bob will write another check if this check does not clear on the account by 20 December 2009. Bob provided Doug with a copy of the income details for this check at the meeting.
General Business
Bob Greenberg offered to pick up cookies for the January meeting. Kurt will make arrangements for future meetings.
Harvey Meyer asked about getting new Guild trifold brochures in color to replace the old black and white ones with the old Woodcraft address. John Rudert offered to print a hundred for free. Harvey stated he would update the brochure and send it to John.
Bob Greenberg stated that he has a binder with all of the club records to turn over to the Secretary.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
