The scheduled board meeting for the Atlanta Woodturning Guild met with quorum in place and was called to order by the President Bob Greenberg 18 November 2009.

General Business
Bob Greenburg reported that he has received an e-mail from Hought Wahl of AAW requesting our support for Woodturners aid in Samoa. After discussion it was decided that due to the fact AWG is a new club and that we are already very involved in community service through our annual toy drive we could not support Hought’s request. Bob forwarded the entire e-mail to the full membership so that individuals could decide for themselves if they wished to donate personally.
