Fellow Turners: I know I don’t have thank each of you individually who participated in the President’s Challenge because I know the children who get your lovingly made work will be overjoyed. My truest wish would be that come next year Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite would no longer need to exist. But while medical breakthroughs are being made every day, I am afraid that come next year the need will be just as great. And I know that many more of you will participate. I have attached a picture showing a limited sampling of your generosity. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your hard work. It never was about who could make the best piece but only about our love of woodworking.
