Nick Cook gave a great demonstration on basic wood turning. He did his usual amazing feat of turning 5 production items in less time that it takes most of us to mount the stock and turn on the lathe! Seriously though, he turned a garden dibble, honey dipper, snowman ornament, and 2 spinning tops.

The meeting concluded with a raffle of 20 items including all Nicks demo’s, some wood donated by Mark Sillay & Steven Potts of Lee Tree Woodworks, and various other items.

A huge THANK YOU to the new owner of Woodcraft, Mr. Steve Quehl, for allowing us to use the facilities.
